Comfort zones

February 22, 2017

“Every moment when I was in Benin, I was on the border of, if not out of, my comfort zone because everything was just so... different. I had my fears, but more importantly, being forced outside of my comfort zone has shown me how brave I can be, how well I can take care of myself and how much I love adventures and creating an impact on others' lives, and how much I would hate living a life that is mundane and purposeless. I came to understand my own passions and values and what I truly want.” You Yin went on her Global Volunteer experience last year, volunteering for the ‘Proud to be a girl’ project. She worked at an orphanage in Benin, looking after children and youth.
